Robin was a classical violinist and realized rock and roll was more her calling!  So she joined and formed new wave bands - The Band-Aids, The Resistors and Cheap Date - and played the rock, punk, new wave clubs in NYC such as CBGBs, Max's Kansas City and Great Gildersleeves.  Rich aka "Richie Hood" always knew he was destined to be a rock guitar god in Brooklyn, playing in bands such as Racer X.  Robin and Rich met and played together in Undercover and eventually, started the band that would morph into Robin and the Hoods!!!   John aka "J.J. Hood" and Stan aka "WhiteZilla" Hood used their Yonkers rock roots to play in bands such as Gypsy and Flashback.  Donna aka "DLo Hood" got her singing chops doing new wave and pop rock videos and recordings.  And Rocky aka "Rocky Hood" toured for years with Johnny Lee and played with other country legends such as Darius Rucker and more!

So here we are!  "Stealing the Finest Classic Rock", movin' and groovin' the best songs from the 60s to the present for your rocking, dancing and listening pleasure!  

Our highlight of last year was a gig at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square NYC.  

Every gig is a thrill and a privilege.

Our goal is to make sure each and everyone there has the best, most enjoyable rock experience ever!  That is of course, until the next Robin and The Hoods gig!
